Cameron R. Rex
Owner - Appraiser/GIS
Having joined RMI Midwest in 2000, Cameron R. Rex, MAI, R/W-AC, GISP, took over ownership and day-to-day operations of RMI Valuation in 2019. Cameron is a Real Estate Appraiser and GIS Manager at RMI Valuation with 22 years of experience involving corridor real estate and track improvement valuation.
Cameron currently holds the Appraisal Institute’s MAI designation, the International Right of Way Association’s R/W-AC Appraisal Certification and is a certified GIS Professional (GISP). Over the past 22 years, Cameron has integrated GIS into all work performed by RMI Valuation, including project based creation and customization of GIS data and workflows and deployment of mobile solutions for data collection for comparable sales inspection, subject property inspection and track improvement inventory.
He has been an active member of the American Railway Development Association, in which he currently serves as Secretary on the Executive Board and has previously served as the Vice-Chair and Chair of the Technology Section on multiple occasions. He is also currently serving as Vice President of the Chicago Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. Cameron graduated from Northeastern Illinois University in 2004 with a degree in geography.
