  • Railroad Valuation

    Specializing in the valuation of railroads, railroad properties, and corridor since 1995, our assignments include market value estimates, net liquidation valuation, going concern valuation, inventory and valuation of track improvements, longitudinal occupancies and crossings.

  • Other Corridors

    We have extensive experience valuing all types of corridors (utility/communication and pipelines), including those traversing large acreage tracts, within other corridors, and crossing public lands, such as national parks, and tribal reservation land. Working through the United States, our assignments have ranged from remote rural lands to densely urban areas.

  • Conservation Easements and Acreage Tracts

    We have valued conservation easements throughout the South and Midwest, meeting all IRS requirements and Yellow Book procedures. Our acreage tract assignments range from subdivision analysis to timberland, cropland, rangeland, and citrus grove valuation.

  • General Appraising and Consulting

    Our appraisal experience includes various property types— both improved and unimproved properties. We also provide consultation for various purposes, including transaction negotiations, dispute resolution, ad valorem taxation, mapping and GIS services.

RMI Valuation is a real estate appraisal services firm with over 60 years of combined appraisal experience and a nationwide reach. We apply comprehensive appraisal valuation and GIS expertise to an extensive variety of real property assignments. Since 1995, we have specialized in the valuation and analysis of corridors and other railroad properties. We strive to provide the best appraisal solution to even the most complex valuation problems.

Cameron started with RMI Midwest in 2001, where he has been integral in developing the analytical and illustrative uses of GIS for the valuation of corridors. Cameron received his MAI in 2014, and has specialized in the valuation of corridor land, track improvements, and corridor occupancies. In 2019, Cameron took over the business as RMI Valuation, LLC.

Sandy started RMI Midwest in 1991 after serving as president of Rex-McGill, Inc., the oldest real estate valuation company in Orlando. Sandy established RMI Midwest as the leading appraisal company focused on the valuation of transportation, utlility/communication, and pipeline corridors in the country. Now part of RMI Valuation, Sandy serves as the Senior Appraiser.
